Meet the Team
I started Timeless Elegance Bridal in 2003. Always stating if I was to start my own business it would be a ‘one stop wedding shop’.
I am proud to have been consistent in my dream, and to have achieved perfection for so many brides. I love working with our brides from start to finish, often over a period of many months form the time they select their dream dress to the time they collect. I love seeing the excitement and anticipation on their faces.
I have been fortunate over the years to have fabulous staff, who enable us to achieve the best results for everyone, and who have supported me every step of the way.
Personally, I live in the glorious Tamar Valley, 20 minutes from the city, overlooking the gorgeous Tamar River. In my down time, I love spending time with my partner Peter. When we are not renovating, gardening or sailing, I am often found at the side of a car circuit race track, or car race somewhere, supporting Peter’s passion of motorsport.
I joined the Timeless Elegance team in October 2014, working in the sewing room as the junior seamstress. Having completed my Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology I was determined to get into the industry. I actually did my college work experience with Louise in 2009, at the time she asked what I wanted to do I told her I wanted to have my own bridal shop.
In December of 2016, I realised my dream and became part owner of Timeless Elegance Bridal. I work primarily on the alterations for each bride, ensuring each dress is perfectly and personally fitted.
With years of assisting brides with their dream dresses, and ensuring they have the right fit for them, I am now looking forward to my turn with my current engagement, so my fun begins in and I can try on bridal gowns for myself.
In my spare time I enjoy camping, drawing and watching movies.
With two young boys not yet at school, I work on Saturdays, that is my ‘grown up time’ and I do love it. Meeting all the brides and their bridal parties is as much fun as a job can be.
With my partner Jesse, we moved our family to Launceston early in 2019, we are building our dream home about 30 minutes out of the city, with the space we will want with two growing boys. Having delayed our own wedding plans for our babies, I must say working in a bridal store does give me lots of ideas. Maybe I should start trying on dresses myself soon.
